Scottish Tech

I built this because I wanted something that was a little bit Product Hunt, a little bit Indie Hackers... but built around our unique Scottish culture and sense of humour. Scotland gave the world the television, the telephone, penicillin, the first cloned mammal (Dolly the sheep), colour photography, whisky, golf, Grand Theft Auto, SkyScanner, FanDuel, the hypodermic needle, Irn Bru... Really, the list goes on and on. However right now there isn't a focal point, a hub - a home - for the ingenuity and talent that's coming out of the country right now. My dream would be for ScottishTech.com, or something that it inspires, to become that. Secondary to the above, it's also a place where tech professionals in Scotland can chat to each other and share product development tips and practices. Maybe even more importantly share the gossip on their workplaces etc. I dunno.... maybe no-one will sign up and it'll just get fast tracked to the product graveyard. Let's see.

Should go without saying.... but folks not in Scotland are more than welcome in the community.

Also... the ability to add products and have users upvote them is built and ready to go, but I've decided to focus on the community aspect of the product first.
