Idea:
Do you think you could create a set up with a screen view of a mounted camera directed at..
A tattoo artist's canvas of work?
This would create optimal magnification of their work space!
I hope this possible additional application was worthwhile for you to read and consider!
Thank you,
Jaswinder Brar
@jay_bee12345 Hi Jaswinder, this is one of the situations for our cameras we have never thought of but I think would be a perfect one. We would definitely consider this application. Thanks a lot for the idea.

@jacobxi Excellent news! I'm so glad!..
Since we're discussing alternative applications..
I would like to suggest one more!
I have an extensive post-secondary chemistry educational background..
I strongly believe you product will hold great place as a demo/record creating instrument for student assignments/experiments as an additional tool/equipment for each lab facility in post-secondary institutions (also applicable to elementary/high school science labs)!
Thanks for reading :)

Hi Product hunters, we are excited to launch ScopeAround Multi-functional camera on Product Hunt.
First, huge thanks to @bramk for the hunt
I’m Jacob, one of the co-founders of ScopeAround. My partner James and I built ScopeAround with the hopes of helping DIY dads with their housework, helping moms with their health and beauty check, and helping children with their science projects or build their interests in the nature. But we found, at the end of day, lots of people can benefit from using it.
Our vision is to bring medical-grade technology to consumers and allow consumers to see something in an angle they have never seen before.
We love to hear your feedback.

Certainly one of the neatest products I have seen in a while. I'm in love with the quality, it's up there with most DSLR cameras. Keep up the good work!
@colemanoates Hi Coleman, thank you very much for the words. We put a lot of thoughts into the design and spent a lot of time on the technology improvement. At the end of the day, we were very satisfied with the resolution of the videos, and we believe our users will be too.
"You get to see things about yourself that you have never seen before", "New ways to see yourself" ....... gives me an idea, hmmm haha.
Lmao, jk, so many awesome ideas just came to me that I could really benefit from. This must have been a huge accomplishment for your team, especially being first in the world. Very elegant product and great execution so far. Looking forward to how it grows, I'm contemplating on backing....
@dilyaraskar Hi Dilyar, Originally we were inspired when we saw friends tying a small mirror on a stick in order to find out what’s wrong with the car(whether it is oil leak, or the engine is broken, etc) when they needed to fix their cars, we wanted to make that easier for people. And then we were thinking, with the same technology, how else we can benefit the consumers. That’s where the idea of the side-view camera and the microscope came from. But now we have people telling us a lot more great ideas and applications than we originally thought of, such as the ant tunnel you mentioned, as well as another consumer telling us he would want to use it to check the birds nest. Actually a hunter in the PH community just thought of another application to use it for tattoo artists. We are very happy to see that and hope more great applications will be thought of and revealed.
@jacobxi absolutely! You guys have something spectacular going here, very robust tool. I'm sure as you guys do more brainstorming and gain consumer attention, more ideas will arise. Best wishes with this campaign +1
The opportunity for tasteless jokes here is magnificent, but I'll refrain. Instead, I'll ask if you've considered *really* hard to reach views, requiring perhaps ten feet or more of extension? My own use case is the need to perform an independent survey of our neighborhood sewage line, which recently backed up, causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. It'd be really useful to have a snaking camera or personal rover that could navigate that sort of environment at considerable length. Another use case might be instant high-mount security cameras in places where no trees or poles are available for mounting.
