SciWeave

We built SciWeave to solve a fundamental problem in research: the difficulty of accessing and synthesizing reliable scientific information quickly. Traditional workflows are slow, fragmented, and often rely on manual searches through papers, PDFs, or databases. We wanted a tool that could provide direct, evidence-based answers in seconds, backed by peer-reviewed literature, and fully traceable to its sources. Our approach was to combine AI with a massive database of open-access research to create a conversational interface that understands questions in natural language and delivers answers with citations. We focused on speed, transparency, and usability, allowing users to explore answers in depth, follow up naturally, and export citations for their work. We designed SciWeave to fit seamlessly into the researcher’s workflow, cutting through noise and accelerating literature discovery. It's built on open infrastructure and AI-native design to ensure that every insight is verifiable, persistent, and connected to the broader scientific ecosystem. We hope you enjoy it!
