For researchers, recruitment is a major hurdle in running clinical trials. For patients, accessibility is the big issue. Science37 is democratizing clinical trials by using their tech to allow for remote participation. This allows patients to participate in trials without having to worry about travel, and researchers to accelerate recruitment.
Patients find travel daunting. It's not just the travel - which, among other things, can be physically painful - but also the life considerations that must be made, from getting babysitters to asking for time off and more. Solving for accessibility in this way can allow patients who never thought a trial was a realistic option to participate. This also unlocks a researcher's ability to enroll a diverse group of participants, which will yield massive benefits for communities that are historically underrepresented in clinical study.

Cons:Some trials will always require some sort of in-person visit due to the need for specialized equipment (but plenty don't)
