Compare animals, structures, and worlds in an interactive true-scale 3D atlas. Ever wondered how a giant whale measures up to the Eiffel Tower, or how Earth compares to a red supergiant? ScaleCheck.xyz goes beyond static 2D images. We let you zoom, rotate, and explore fully interactive 3D models to truly grasp the sheer size of massive giants and the vast cosmos.
Hi Everyone~ 👋
I spend a lot of my day working closely with 3D spatial data and computer vision. But outside of my main work, I’ve always had this lingering, childlike curiosity: just how big is a blue whale compared to the Eiffel Tower? Or our Earth compared to a supergiant star?
I realized that traditional 2D comparison charts never quite capture the true, awe-inspiring scale of these massive entities.
That’s why I built ScaleCheck.xyz. It’s a fully interactive 3D atlas that lets you place colossal creatures, mega-structures, and celestial bodies side by side. You can zoom, pan, and rotate to genuinely wrap your head around their true scale.
I’d love for you to play around with it and zoom out to the absolute max! Let me know what you think.
What giant object, creature, or planet should I add to the atlas next? Drop your requests below! 👇
