Planning a trip usually starts with searching destinations, hotels, and attractions. But finding meaningful experiences and people to share them with can still be difficult.
With Hola Trips, we are exploring a way for travelers, organizers, and communities to create and discover trips, events, and local experiences.
Curious:
How do you currently find unique experiences?
Would you join experiences created by other travelers or locals?
What information would help you decide if an experience is worth joining?
the way you tied real-time translation into local experience discovery feels really thoughtful, like you actually thought through how travelers stumble into language barriers instead of just bolting on an ai feature.
@blent81pm Thank you, I really appreciate that. That was exactly the intention behind SayHola — not to treat translation as just another AI feature, but as a bridge that unlocks real human moments.
When people travel, the biggest barriers usually happen in ordinary situations: discovering a local experience, joining a conversation, asking for recommendations, or connecting with someone nearby. Real-time translation becomes much more meaningful when it’s connected to context — the place you’re in, the people around you, and the experiences happening in real time.
The goal is to make travel feel less like observing a place and more like becoming part of it. Thanks for recognizing that vision. 🙌
