SaveWater.lol is a live multiplayer social experiment. A single digital faucet that anyone in the world can turn on or off in real time, flanked by a 6-slot live outbid advertising board.

I'm Aman, the creator of SaveWater.lol.
A lot of internet experiments either demand too much attention or take themselves too seriously. I wanted to build something dead simple: a digital artifact that tests collective action and human impulse.
💧 The Core Game:
There is one tap in the middle of the screen. If someone turns it on, water runs and the wasted gallons counter ticks up for every connected visitor in real time. Can humanity keep the tap closed, or will someone always leave it running?
⚡ The Tech:
Built with sub-100ms real-time synchronization so every twist updates across all open tabs globally. Edge rate-limited per IP to keep it human.
🎯 The Flanking Outbid Engine:
Instead of standard banner ads, there are 6 billboard spots flanking the faucet starting at $5. Once all 6 fill up, anyone can outbid the lowest sponsor by $1 to take their spot on the board (powered by Dodo Payments).
