What if, before long, AI not only surpasses human capabilities but also, for some reason, decides to take control of the planet? To be honest, I don’t really understand what kind of resource it would make sense for it to compete with us for here on Earth; and oxygen and water aren’t exactly the best of friends for computing technology, but still - what if? I decided to set up a website where people could submit their application to survive in the event of an AI apocalypse. Of course, being listed in such a register offers no guarantees.
