What if people had reviews too? Sarafan is a place where trust is built through real experiences. Search by phone number to see how others describe their interactions, or share your own experience to help the next person make a better decision. Whether it’s a buyer, seller, freelancer, client, landlord, or anyone you’ve dealt with, Sarafan makes reputation more transparent. No access to your contacts. Just authentic experiences shared by real people.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m the maker of Sarafan, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.
The idea started with a simple question:
What if people had reviews too?
Every day we interact with buyers, sellers, freelancers, clients, landlords, contractors, and many others. Before meeting someone, we can easily find reviews about a restaurant or a product—but almost nothing about the person we’re about to deal with.
Sarafan is my attempt to change that.
The goal isn’t to judge people. It’s to help build trust through real experiences and make everyday interactions a little more transparent.
I’d love to hear what you think:
* Would you use something like this?
* What concerns would you have?
* What features would make it more useful?
Thanks for checking out Sarafan, and I’m looking forward to your feedback! 🙌

The phone number search is a surprisingly practical idea, feels like something that should already exist. Curious how it handles people who share numbers across multiple contexts.

Love how the phone-number search is front and center without forcing contact access. That single UX choice already sets the tone before you read a single review.
