Sankki: Shanghai Rummy online, with your own house rules

Shanghai — contract rummy, also known as May I?, Carioca or Continental depending on where you grew up — is the card game our family has played for decades. Every family plays it a little differently, and every single time someone starts a game the first ten minutes go to arguing about the rules: how many rounds, can you buy from the discard pile, are the jokers wild, who gets penalised for what. So we built the argument into the software. In Sankki every rule is a table setting, not a house rule you defend: rounds, contracts, buying, wild cards, penalties and scoring. The table's creator picks a preset or their own, and the rules are frozen the moment the game starts, so nobody rewrites them mid-game. Shanghai, May I? and other contract rummy variants are ready out of the box.
