Interesting! It's unfortunate availability is limited to US territory tho!

Similar to Boatbound, Sailo lets you get out on the water without the hassle of boat ownership by doing it on someone else's boat.

Love it... just checked their website and seems the stretched images have been fixed. Looks like they're different from BoatBound as they're a three-way marketplace that connects people to boats AND to captains.

I used @sailo in Miami and had a great experience.

Their stretched images don't inspire much hope: But as a sailor and person who generally likes to look important I <3 the concept.

There are a lot of these and yet they all ready struggle to gain mass adoption... each of them seem limited to their home markets, in Amsterdam we have http://barqo.co/en/ that focuses on Netherlands market but also parts of Europe...
