Audio player with waveform for iOS

Sailer is a simple audio file player with waveform display. Interactive waveform view allows precise and intuitive seeking, even in long-form audio such as radio broadcasts, audiobooks, and lectures. The marker feature makes it easy to repeat specific parts, ideal for language learning, transcription, music practice, and more.

Hello, Product Hunters! 👋 I’m Shu, an indie developer from Japan. I created Sailer because I was frustrated with how difficult it is to navigate long-form audio using standard music players on the iPhone. I felt this most while listening to language learning materials like foreign radio programs and dramas. Short seek bars and a lack of visual hints made finding the right spot feel like guesswork. There was also no simple way to quickly jump to a specific point or loop a particular section. While professional audio editors offer these features, they are designed for editing rather than playback. Their interfaces are often complex and originally built for desktop use, which doesn’t translate well to a gesture-based iPhone experience. I wanted a simple audio player with an intuitive, iOS-native interface. Sailer meets this need by turning the waveform into your primary controller. It’s not just a visual representation — you can drag, tap, and pinch the waveform itself to navigate audio and control playback. I believe this approach has worked well. I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Please let me know what you think!
