Sail Align is an all-in-one sailing app for iOS & Android that helps Race Committees and sailors run smoother regattas. Broadcast a synchronized start countdown and start line to the fleet, record checkpoints and finish times, and generate instant PDF results. Beyond racing, Sail Align includes marine forecasts, NavTex/MSI warnings, GPS route tracking, and a digital logbook.

Hi Everyone, I’m a sailor myself, and I often help out at amateur regattas as race officer. During these events I kept running into the same problem: many races rely on improvised tools, scattered timers, and manual coordination — so I decided to try building something more practical. - That’s how Sail Align started. At first, the main focus was just one thing: a broadcasted, synchronized race clock that everyone in the fleet could rely on. Later on, this naturally grew into things like start line handling, race management tools, and other regatta-related features. Over time, I also wanted to include modules that could be useful even outside of racing. For example, I added a NAVTEX module, simply because I thought it might be helpful for sailors in general — not just during competitions. This is very much a hobby project. I work on it in my free time, so progress is slower than I’d like, but the motivation is genuine: I really want to give something useful back to the sailing community, purely out of love for the sport. The design is still quite basic — consider it beta-level UI. A more polished design is already in progress, just moving slowly like everything else 🙂 I would honestly love to hear your feedback: What feels useful? What feels unnecessary? Are there features you wish existed but don’t? Any ideas you think would make sense for regattas or everyday sailing? Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any thoughts or ideas you’re willing to share. Fair winds
