Hi Product Hunt. We build SafeWidth for the people who receive artwork from customers and have to decide whether it will print: DTF and DTG shops, sticker and sign makers, print on demand sellers. The problem is old and boring. A customer sends a 1000 px logo and asks for a 12 inch print. The shop either prints it and eats the reprint, spends an hour in an editor, or writes yet another email asking for a better file. SafeWidth does one thing: it measures the detail that actually survives at the width on the order, and gives one of four answers. Print as is. Print smaller, with the exact safe width. Ask the customer for a better file, with the message already written. Or, when it cannot be sure, it says so instead of guessing. It only changes a file when it can verify the change against the original. Checking is free and needs no account. Plans are for volume: batch checks on the whole inbox and higher daily limits.
