Safe Trader

Safe Trader uses your USDC balance to make small, miniature purchases of crypto assets that are detected to be slightly below their recent average price within a window (or slightly below your latest sale of that asset, if more recent). Then, through continuous monitoring, if the app detects that the asset will produce a slight profit after fees (based on your buy price), it sells the asset. It takes the profit and adds it to a continuously-updated reserve USDC balance, while re-investing the remainder in the next asset that meets its criteria. The amount invested is dynamically adjusted based on the total portfolio balance and whether funds are available at any given time for a desired buy. The trader is opinionated, conservative, and frankly, rather boring. But that's the point!

Since Saturday, I've been patching a few issues I found in the app. It should speed up trading loops to allow it to be more responsive to varying prices. Made $0.52 in realized gains on a $250 USDC balance just today so far!

I did a patch this morning to help the system manage how much to re-invest at a time based on how often funds are available when good buys are available. Safe Trader observed an irregular spike in one of my owned assets and made $2+ on just one transaction - doesn't happen all the time, but it's nice that this thing is working 24/7.

Major improvements just released! Fixes to how profits are calculated based on actual fills rather than limit amounts. Also, ability to preserve existing crypto asset balances and opt-in to having Safe Trader manage them. Woot!
