SabaiStart is a private, local-first browser dashboard built as an installable Progressive Web App. Unlike most start pages, it works entirely offline and stores all settings, bookmarks, themes, and widgets directly on the user's device. It includes Weather, Radio, Calendar, and Media widgets, supports custom HTML5 widgets with public APIs, and runs on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS—without cloud services, accounts, or tracking.

Love the local-first approach, feels rare to see a dashboard that respects privacy this much. One idea: add a "shared widget" feature using exportable JSON snippets so users can swap widget configs without needing to sign up for anything. Would make the custom HTML5 widget ecosystem way more discoverable.

Thanks for the great feedback! I like the idea of shareable widgets without requiring accounts or cloud services.
SabaiStart is intentionally designed around simplicity and local ownership. At the moment, users can already create widgets directly with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, which keeps things flexible and easy to understand.
That said, import/export functionality for complete widget packages could be an interesting addition in the future while still keeping everything local and privacy-friendly.
Thanks for the suggestion!
