We are really excited to be on Product Hunt!
Rydhero is a car service startup focusing on children transport. Rydhero was founded by Naby Mariyam and I to help drive parents kids when they can’t.
As a parent, Naby was finding it really hard to drive her kid around. She always had to juggle work and her kid’s activities every week. It was always a struggle bringing her kid from point A to point B. Uber and other taxi services are not built for that, they don’t have the right insurance, and parents don’t feel confident leaving my child with a stranger. Rydhero solves this problem.
We are different from services like Uber in a couple of ways: We have a specialized insurance specifically designed for minors. Our drivers are physically going into schools or other places to sign kids in or out and accompany them outside of the car. All of our drivers are background checked, have a Working with Children diploma and are extra trained in face-to-face meetings
Rydhero is not on-Demand as services like Uber are. We lets parents pre-schedule pick-up times between 24 hours and one week in advance.
We have just launched the service in Beta in Sydney, Australia. At the moment, we have a one-time booking system, but we plan to make an app out of it, so parents can save their kids information as well as different favorite addresses (dance class, football, school, etc.).
We're aiming to becoming the best transport service for your kids and family and we're open for feedback, partnership, coverage or investment. We would love to hear your feedback!
