Astra let me operate like a one-man launch team. I used it across the entire surface of runstate: designing the frontend, shaping the visual system, writing launch copy, making promo graphics, producing the launch video, and handling the technical work around all of it. The biggest thing it gave me was velocity. I could move from an idea to something polished and shippable without constantly switching tools or waiting on another person, which meant I could keep pushing the product and the launch forward at the same time. For that kind of range across creative work, marketing, design, and development, Astra felt unparalleled. runstate does not look like a side project held together by one engineer. The site, product, docs, visuals, and launch all feel like one coherent thing. As a solo founder, Astra was the creative, marketing, design, and technical team I needed.

I built runstate after running into the same problem over and over: one agent is easy, but once you have dozens running in parallel they start stepping on each other. They pick up the same work, hit the same API limits, compete for browser and GPU capacity, burn through shared budgets, and get hard to debug when something stalls. runstate gives the whole swarm one shared place for that state. Agents can claim work without duplicating it, share quotas and resource pools, recover when workers crash, coordinate spend, stop once enough work is done, and show you what’s blocked. It plugs into the agents and infrastructure you already run, so you can add coordination where you need it instead of moving everything into a new framework. The developer preview is open now. I’m also offering a few teams a free two-week pilot and helping wire the first workload in myself.
