This whole project started because I got tired of doing “professional money things” in the most unprofessional ways possible.
One day I tried sending someone a small payment, and instead of giving them cash, I literally typed “your gift is in my mind, collect it spiritually.”
They didn’t laugh. I knew I needed a better system.
So I thought… what if sending value was as easy as creating a card, sharing a code, and boom — done? No stress, no spiritual transfers, no “check your bank again.”
That’s where Runescard came from.
But of course, the process evolved. At first, I wanted to build a simple gift-card-type tool… then I realised people actually wanted flexibility, different currencies, easy redeeming, business use cases, and less headache overall. So the project grew legs, then wings, and now here we are launching something way bigger than I planned.
And trust me — this is just the beginning. 🚀
