Start your journey to an active life with Run and we will give you personalized attention. Our app is designed for those who want to start running and maintain physical and mental health. Just install the app and we'll take care of the rest.
Hi Product Hunt! 🥳 I would like to introduce you to my app "Run - your smart tracker". This app is designed for those who want to start running. Install the app and smoothly dive into your new ritual. The app will choose a weather-appropriate day for you and a workout level based on your starting data.
Future updates planned include.
- Adding different workout goals (weight loss, marathon training, etc.)
- Improving the workout algorithm by increasing the factors that influence workouts
- Interaction with other applications
I hope we will grow our run together.
I love the concept and the smart workout feature. Does the app only work with Google maps or can it be synced with other maps? Where I live Google maps is not really used as it’s not as accurate as native maps apps. - Also congrats on the launch! 👏
@carolmoh Thank you! Apple Map is currently available. In future updates we plan to add Open Street Map, just because people add information in it themselves and they are the most reliable (even trampled paths show🙀)

This is cool. Does it have features to deal with recovering from injury (as a runner with some arch discomfort currently)?
@rtwfroody There's no such thing. And to be honest, I hadn't even thought about it. It occurs to me to take a few days off and show tips when injured. Can you tell me what features would help you with injury recovery?

@daria_petrenko What would be useful for me:
1. Reminder to really evaluate how my injury is doing today. A way to track progress on this would also be great.
2. When I'm doing a light run because I'm hurt, reminder that the goal is to take it easy. It's fine to quit early, etc.
3. Encouragement to do something even if you can't run. Maybe walking, stretching, just something that gets you to move.
@rtwfroody Yeah, that sounds great. I will try to implement it in future updates.

Sounds fantastic and congrats on the launch. I have recently started taking small steps towards running after staying sick for a few months. Now I need to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
I would love to see if there are plans and tips particularly for weight-gain. As it is an unexplored niche. Not enough development has been done in this regard which makes it difficult for people like me.
@zuhaib_ashfaq No such workout yet, but thanks for pitching the idea. I've never seen very muscular runners, but you can get some kind of tightness and relief effect.
Wow, it looks amazing, congrats on the launch!!!!
I work most of the time and can only afford to go for a run once a week. Is the app designed for lazy people like me? 😅
@dumojo
Thank you, now if you miss a scheduled workout, it is rescheduled for another day. But it can affect your level. In the future, there will be training for lazy people. It's relevant to many people 😁
@chtrbx_ai The workout is influenced by your initial physical fitness, the weather, how often you skip workouts and how much more / less you complete the plan, as well as some other parameters.
Always love when products blend tech and fitness. As a runner myself, this will be interesting to try out. Just curious... if someone lives in a location where there is little to no "weather appropriate day" will the app not allow us to go for a workout? :)
Congratulations on the launch, Daria!
@rockyperezz
Thank you for your comment!
The weather looks in comparison based on the week or month by your location. I tested in a tropical climate when it rained for weeks 🥲
Since this is just a launch, the app will still be developing, so all feedback and opinions are very important!
