RTSniff - RTSP Scanner: Audit and Detect Insecure RTSP Streams on IP Cameras!

Introducing RTSniff – A Lightweight RTSP Scanner for IP Camera Security Network cameras are widely used today, from home setups to enterprise systems. Unfortunately, many of them still expose video streams through RTSP without proper protection, leaving sensitive data vulnerable. I created RTSniff to address this issue. It’s a small, efficient tool that helps you: - Scan and detect insecure RTSP endpoints in a provided IP and Port; - Check accessibility of video streams to uncover weak or missing authentication; - Support security audits by providing a quick way to identify misconfigured devices. The goal is straightforward: to raise awareness and simplify the process of securing IP cameras for individuals and organisations. RTSniff is not about exploiting vulnerabilities, but about empowering users to protect their own infrastructure.
