I’m 16 and just shipped my first App Store app. Built it because every rowing app is either a bloated generic fitness app or abandoned since 2019. So I built RowBetter — workout logging and training plans for competitive rowers. 38 downloads. 28 from people I personally know. I’ve maxed out my network. Looking for honest feedback on the product, listing, or growth. How did you get your first downloads from strangers?
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Zachary, the developer behind RowBetter.
I'm 16 and a competitive rower — I built this because I genuinely couldn't find a training app that fit how serious crew athletes actually train. Everything out there is either a massive generic fitness app that treats rowing as an afterthought, or a niche app that hasn't been touched since 2019.
RowBetter is my answer to that. Workout logging and structured training plans built specifically for competitive rowers, not home gym hobbyists.
38 downloads so far, mostly teammates. Today is my first real push beyond my own network.
