I had a two week break from work and set myself the task of building and shipping something (anything), as I haven't had this opportunity for years. I don't code for a living anymore and I wanted to familiarise myself again. Rote just emerged. If it hits 1000 Rotes, I'll take it down for maintenance and upgrade the hosting 😅

An interesting idea for monetising it would be allowing folks to buy Rote ids that were okay to be recycled (or maybe owners could sell them off). Hypothetically, it would be "cool" to own Rote #666, for example, once we're into the 100s of thousands or more. Again, just a fun idea!
