Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a gardener on the weekends. RootCalcs started with a wheelbarrow problem: I filled a raised bed, ran short on soil, and drove back to the store. The guide I'd followed said to "estimate." I teach people to be precise with money, and buying twice what you need is just a math problem nobody had bothered to solve cleanly. You can check the arithmetic with a pencil. Where the math has known caveats — soil settles 10–20% in year one, fall crops run ~2 weeks slow, paper-towel germination tests flatter your seeds — the page says so instead of pretending precision it doesn't have. No login, no paywall, plain fast HTML that works on a phone in the garden. Love that every formula is documented and visible on the page, it makes the tool feel honest and actually useful for learning rather than just spitting out numbers. No login or paywall is the cherry on top.
