Hey! The past few months I’ve been working on this open-source software stack that makes it easy to build your own privacy-first security camera. When searching for a home security camera (e.g. Google Nest, Amazon Ring..) that guarantees privacy I was surprised to find out there’s no good option, apart from going the old-school route. I’ve built this software to make it easy to set up a feature-rich & remotely accessible security camera with on-device AI vision. No need for a big NVR, home server, etc. The linked guide walks you through the easy process, all you need is a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 + a camera module.
