👋 Hey ProductHunt, I am Vlad, and I am the developer of Roomify. Our app allows you to quickly scan & measure multiple rooms, which then can be saved, analyzed, and exported as a 3D file. It is super simple to use, just take out your phone’s camera, take a room tour and save it on your device. The app uses Apple's RoomPlan API and iPhone’s LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensor which makes use of lasers to measure and create accurate high-resolution models of objects and rooms. In our app, you can tap on any object of the scan, and you will be able to see its dimensions. Before I started developing the app I was thinking about how useful the app could be to Interior Designers, real estate agents or homeowners who are looking to renovate their rooms. For example, interior designers can easily scan a room, export it to their computers, and start designing.
