Roo

It has been a blast to see Steve bring Roo to life. When he first showed me the concept last fall, my only question was "how soon can I get one?" Now that I've been cooking at home even more, I need one of these. Yesterday I made a mess on my cutting board chopping roasted red peppers and got juice everywhere. Roo's simple, clean design would have helped me from a wet floor. I'm excited to see something so simple-obvious come to life in such a nice format. Steve, the engineering mind behind this, has worked through multiple materials, shapes, and sizes to settle on this as the best combination for use at home.

Roo is one of those products that you can't believe doesn't exist yet. Every time I'm chopping veggies, fruit and other foods, I wish I had a neat, central place to put all the scraps to discard later. Also, I'm so sick of cutting boards sliding around on my counter when I've got sharp knives chopping food! When @stevenportela told me his idea, I wanted to buy it immediately. Having worked with him in the past, I knew his engineering expertise could make it a reality. So excited to support his project so I can have Roo in my kitchen already.
