ROLL turns any event into a shared disposable camera. Guests scan a QR code and start shooting instantly, no app download needed. Everyone gets a limited number of shots, so people frame moments instead of spamming. Every photo gets a real film look, and nobody sees a single picture until the host develops the roll after the event. One camera, all your guests, and a reveal that feels like picking up prints from the lab. Made for weddings, parties, and every night worth keeping.
I kept buying disposable cameras for weddings and parties. There's something about them that phone cameras killed: everyone shoots freely because nobody can review or delete, and you see the night through your guests' eyes instead of your own. But the ritual always fell apart at the end. Cameras got lost, film came back half blank, and the lab took weeks.
ROLL is my attempt to keep the magic and drop the friction. One shared camera for the whole event, guests scan a QR and shoot instantly with no app or account, everyone gets a limited number of shots, and nothing is visible until you develop the roll. The reveal turned out to be the best part. It becomes its own little event a day after the real one.

Love the disposable film reveal concept, it sounds magical. One thing that would make it even better: let the host drop in a short intro message or pick a Spotify playlist link at setup so when guests finally get the developed roll back, the photos arrive with a little video or soundtrack attached.

The film look and shared roll concept sound really fun for events. One thing that would make this even better is letting the host pick a custom number of shots per guest depending on the event size, so a wedding with 150 people doesn't get capped the same as a 20 person birthday. Also the reveal would hit harder with a small AI curated highlight reel of the best shots before showing the full gallery.

Love the no app download part, made it painless to get my friends actually using it at my birthday. The film look on the photos came out way better than I expected, really nailed that nostalgic vibe.
