ROBN is for people who love outdoor activities and need a better way to listen to audio. Speakers point towards your ears, so noise pollution is minimal, built-in mic allows you to take calls on the go, or use the ROBN app for hands-free group chat and more.
What do you think the ROBN harness compare to the AfterShokz bone conduction headsets, which seems to solve the same problem but can be a lot smaller and easier to wear? (link: https://aftershokz.com/collectio...)
@allan_jiang Bone conduction audio quality isn't great IMO, also you still have to worry about something making contact with you, which creates problems with movement. Also, Robn looks a lot bigger and bulkier on site, but it's less than 8oz so most people forget they even have it on. Plus robn app gives handsfree group chat and some other advantages.
The founder, Wilson asked me to check out the first prototype about a year ago. I was skeptical because I get annoyed by people blasting their music publicly, but was really surprised at the difference the wearer hears vs. people around them.
It convinced me enough that I took a larger role and got involved in Robn and after rounds of prototypes, I think we've created a pretty stellar product.
Now you can safely listen to music (or podcasts or calls) while you're biking or riding in the city and still be aware of what's around you. No earbuds to worry about falling out during a run. Or if you're on a hike you can still hear the sounds of nature on the trail, but maybe you need a little music to push for the summit.
Plus LEDs on the back for added visibility at night.
We've tested it on long runs (no chafing surprisingly), biking in a downpour, a bunch of electric vehicles (onewheel daily!), pretending to be cowboys on horseback, and even to the sky in paragliders.
I routinely take calls on it while I'm riding and sound quality on the other ends is great, even with wind or some speed.
The associated app also adds some metrics and the ability for hands-free group audio chat (think slack for audio). Or bump to the H2 for one-touch walkie-talkie built-in as well.
Hope you guys dig as much as our team and community of early testers :)

I think this such a Dope Product.. If I got one I would use it at work because always on construction sites. The safety of being able to hear the environment around you while using it is enough of a sell for me.

@scottreyes easiest way is with a wet towel or sponge, but you could take the speakers and controller out and hand wash too - just have to make sure itโs totally dry before plugging stuff back in
