Review Rive?
Reviewers see Rive as a fast, lightweight interactive animation tool that feels easier and less bloated than older options like Lottie, Synfig, or Wine-based workarounds on Linux. They repeatedly praise its compact files, approachable editor, and support for non-designers, though one user notes a steeper learning curve. Technical feedback from makers of LightTwist, Tomosu, and Brilliant highlights smooth production use, SwiftUI-friendly state machines, and strong support for interactive, touch-responsive animations.

As I was ready to give up on Linux for not having a single animation tool that works with flair - This Application capture my optic nerves faster than a Karen causing mayhem. Been use it since the beta and still here. No more using Synfig or using wine/crossover on my Artix OS PC.
We integrated Rive as a way to support really awesome animations. You can upload .riv files and use them as part of your video production in LightTwist.
