Ripton Cloud moves very large files and folders with thousands of files between sites, partners and clients over long-distance or unreliable networks. It runs on your own servers, encrypts every transfer, and resumes from where a dropped link stopped.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kartikeya, founder of Ripton Cloud.
We built Ripton because moving big datasets between distant sites is still painful: transfers crawl on long or lossy links, restart from zero when the connection drops, and often end up on a third-party cloud you don't control.
What Ripton does:
• Runs on your own servers, next to your storage. Files go site to site, not through us
• Encryption is mandatory, with a new key every session
• Resumes from the missing data after a dropped link
• Sends folders with thousands of files as one package
• Partners send and receive through expiring, passcode-protected links and shared inboxes, with no account needed
• Watch folders, schedules, webhooks, REST API and CLI for automation; SSO, MFA and an append-only audit log for IT
In our published test (150 ms round trip, 3% packet loss): large files moved about 7× faster than standard TCP, and a folder of 100,000 small files moved about 175× faster (under a second vs almost three minutes).
There's a free plan — request access at riptoncloud.com/start-trial and we'll set you up. I'd love your honest feedback, especially if you move large data between offices, field sites or partners. What would make you switch from what you use today?
