Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Fatahilla, the solo maker behind Rimba Idle.

Idle games are perfect for busy lives, but almost all of them are set in the same generic fantasy worlds. Indonesia has more than 17,000 islands full of legends, crafts, and weapons that rarely appear in games, so I set out to build an idle MMO rooted in Nusantara.

🌿 What Rimba Idle is

A cozy, persistent idle MMO. You pick a job, close the app, and come back to the results: wood, ore, fish, meals, and battle gear. It's built to be played in short sessions between real life.

⚔️ What you can do

• Train six skills: Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing, Cooking, Smithing, and Combat

• Travel across regions inspired by real Indonesian islands and nature

• Collect traditional weapons like the Keris, Mandau, Kujang, and Rencong

• Upgrade gear from +1 to +10 with Pamor Forging (named after the patterned steel of real Keris blades)

• Send your character through multi-floor dungeons with bosses

• Trade with other players on a player-driven market

• Join a guild, build shared facilities, and compete in seasonal guild wars

🤝 Fair by design

Rimba Idle is free to play. Optional Tokens are for cosmetics and convenience only, and they never affect guild wars, dungeons, or upgrades.

🛠️ Under the hood

It's a lightweight web app (PHP + Bootstrap) that runs in any browser and ships to Android as a Progressive Web App, so one codebase serves everyone, and updates go live instantly without waiting for app store reviews. The game is available in English and Indonesian.
