Hey PH community! Dave and I are really excited to launch Ribbon - a web3 professional achievements platform. What is Ribbon? Ribbon is a platform for employers to recognize and reward achievements by minting NFTs for their employees. Here's some examples of achievements that employers can recognize with Ribbon NFTs: - work anniversaries and tenure - promotions and titles - shipped projects and products - talks and conferences - social events Ribbon turns each of these achievements into NFTs. Once Ribbon awards are on the blockchain, they are verifiable and composable. It's easy to spin up an NFT-gated community of Product Managers using Ribbon NFTs. You can even combine Ribbon NFTs with Cal.com for gated meeting links. We take a zero-permission approach to professional data. We're building Ribbon so that others can build on top of the NFTs and realize the full potential of professional/work data. Here's a little bit about the genesis of Ribbon: The idea sparked from our discussions about LinkedIn. We love the community aspect but we were frustrated by the low level of trust and no ability to build on top of professional data. We wanted to build a new professional community that is verifiable but also open. Nobody should need anyone's permission to build on top of the data.
