RhythmicFlow is a free breathing & meditation app for Android. Instead of counting, you breathe along with a flower that blooms as you inhale and closes as you exhale. It has Box Breathing, 4-7-8, Vagus Nerve and more, plus a timer, streaks, custom routines and calming sounds. For anyone who finds Calm or Headspace too pricey or cluttered. No ads to start, no account needed.
Hey PH 👋 I built RhythmicFlow because most calm/breathing apps are paywalled or cluttered. It is a free Android app: a flower opens as you breathe in and closes as you breathe out — that is the whole idea. Box, 4-7-8 and Vagus Nerve patterns, custom routines, streaks. No ads to start. Would love your honest feedback 🌿

The blooming flower visual makes the breathing exercises feel way less mechanical than the usual timer apps, which actually helped me settle into a slower rhythm. Box breathing without the clutter or subscription wall is a nice change of pace.

Thanks Yaren! Really glad the slower rhythm actually landed for you — that's the whole idea behind the flower instead of a plain counter. If you have a minute sometime, it'd mean a lot if you dropped your honest take as a review on this page too.

love the blooming flower idea, way more inviting than a number counter. one thing that would make me keep coming back is letting me pick my own soundscape length so a session can fade out naturally instead of cutting off mid-inhale.

Thanks Esra! That soundscape-length point is a good one — noted for a future update. If you have a minute sometime, it'd mean a lot if you shared your honest take as a review on this page too.

Love the flower visualization concept, that's a really nice touch compared to plain numbers. One thing I'd love to see is a gentle haptic pulse that syncs with the inhale and exhale on the phone, so you could use it with your eyes closed or with the screen face down. Would make those 4-7-8 sessions feel even more embodied.

the flower blooming with each inhale is such a simple touch but it actually makes the breathing feel way less mechanical. loved that there was no sign-up wall either.
The blooming flower visual is a really smart way to guide breathing instead of forcing people to count. Love that it skips the account signup and ads too.
The breathing-along-with-a-blooming-flower idea is genuinely clever, way more intuitive than staring at a count. Love that it skips the account wall and the price tag right out of the gate too.
