We built ReviewHog because most AI code review tools felt noisy and shallow in real engineering workflows. Instead of focusing on formatting nitpicks, ReviewHog reviews GitHub PRs for real production issues like logic bugs, async edge cases, security risks, scalability problems, and performance regressions. It integrates directly with GitHub and uses an AI-powered review pipeline built with Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, and OpenRouter. Currently working on semantic analysis, specialized reviewers, and intelligent review aggregation to make AI code reviews more accurate, trustworthy, and genuinely useful for developers.
