This one came out of a slightly embarrassing realization: I kept seeing failed payments stack up and assumed Stripe's retries were handling it. They weren't. A retry just charges the same dead card again, if it's expired, it's still expired on attempt #4. But here's the thing, most of those failures are fixable. The customer isn't rage-quitting, their card just expired. They need a nudge to go update it. So that's all RetryFi really does: the emails, the reminders, the "hey, your payment bounced" follow-ups, until the card actually gets fixed. It connects to Stripe so it can see your payments but never touch them. Couple minutes to set up. Mostly I just want to hear how other people deal with this.
