What do you think? …

Alex Charantzidis
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m really excited to share my first app with you all! It’s been live for just over a month, and I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. 🙌 Why did I build this app? The idea came from a personal struggle—forgetting key insights from non-fiction books I had read. A friend asked me to discuss a book I finished a few months earlier, and I realized I barely remembered anything. That moment stuck with me. I love reading, but what’s the point if I forget most of it? I wanted a simple way to organize my highlights, review them easily, and actually remember what I read. That’s why I built this app, to help readers retain more of what they read. You can save highlights by chapter, convert them into flashcards, and use spaced repetition to reinforce key ideas over time. I’m continuously working on improving it, and I’d love to know how it could better fit your reading and learning needs. Thanks for checking it out! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts and ideas! 📚

Love this idea! I struggle with the same problem—I jot down key points from books in my notes but rarely revisit them. I’ve been searching for an app like this and even considered building one myself.

Just downloaded it on my old Android, and it looks great! I especially love that you can search for literally any book. Are you planning to release an iOS version soon? I’d love to use it on my iPhone!

One feature that could be really useful is daily push notifications for highlights. A quick reminder each day could help reinforce key insights over time. It’d be even better if users could customize the notification time—whether in the morning, during dinner, or right before bed.

Also, what tech stack did you use to build this app? Really curious to hear more!

@daanmemelink Thanks so much for checking out the app and for your kind words! 🙌
I’m really glad to hear it’s something you’ve been looking for.

For the tech stack, I built it using native Android, Firebase for the backend and Figma for the designs.

I love the idea of daily push notifications! I’m actually planning to implement a reminders feature, where the app notifies you when you have highlights due for review. Customizable timing is a great suggestion, I’ll definitely consider that!

As for releasing the app on App Store, my focus right now is on refining the Android version and validating the idea before moving forward with iOS. But it’s definitely something I might explore in the future!

Really appreciate your feedback and ideas!

@alexchar8 Totally understand your approach to validating the idea before diving into iOS. Excited to see how the app evolves!
