The RespiraWorks ventilator is a low-cost, life-saving device. While there are teams working on emergency "bridge" ventilators, we believe we're the only team tackling the much harder problem of adaptive ventilator support in an open source manner.

Hello Hunters! I met the brilliant team behind this project online about a month ago. An incredible amount of progress has been made on an engineering challenge that would normally take years. The team's background includes SpaceX and Google, and it is geographically located in places like the SF Bay Area, Virginia, France, the U.K., and Kyrgyzstan. The team is assembling an Alpha build this weekend and hopes to be ready for production next month in Guatemala, which is the first target for the product.
