Reredd is a command-line tool for founders, product teams, and growth marketers who want to use Reddit seriously for research, for validation, and for authentic community engagement. It runs entirely from your terminal, stores everything locally, and exposes a full MCP server so any LLM agent can plug directly into your Reddit workflows.

I built this because I kept running into the same frustration as a founder: Reddit is genuinely the best place to find honest customer feedback but extracting signal from it is a nightmare.
I was spending hours every week manually scrolling subreddits, copy-pasting quotes into Notion, trying to find patterns. And every time I tried to engage with communities, it either felt spammy or took forever to craft something contextually relevant.
So I built Reredd first for myself, then realized others needed it too.
A few things I'm especially proud of that might not be obvious from the description:
The authenticity scoring — this was the hardest thing to get right. Most Reddit automation tools just blast replies. Reredd actually penalizes promotional language and rewrites or skips anything that reads like an ad. It's opinionated on purpose.
The MCP server you can point Claude or any LLM agent directly at Reredd and build full research pipelines without writing integrations. This unlocks a lot.
Local-first your session cookies never leave your machine. I was uncomfortable building yet another tool that asks you to trust a server with sensitive credentials.
This is my first Product Hunt launch, so I'd love your honest feedback what's missing, what's confusing, what you'd pay for. Nothing is off the table.
