Bulk-clone and organize your GitHub repos into preset layouts with an AGENTS.md map for AI coding agents. One command via npx on Windows, macOS and Linux.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Samet, the creator of repotruck.
As developers, many of us juggle dozens of repositories across personal accounts, client work, and organizations. Over time, my local workspace turned into a chaotic mess of cloned folders, out-of-sync branches, and forgotten repos.
Worse, as I started using AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor, they had zero context of how my local repositories were laid out or how to search across them.
I built repotruck to solve both problems in one unified workflow.
### How it works:
1. 🖥️ Interactive Terminal Dashboard (TUI): A keyboard-driven terminal interface (built with OpenTUI/React) to browse, search, reorganize, and preview bulk sync operations before touching disk.
2. ⚡ Headless CLI: Scriptable subcommands (`sync`, `reorganize`, `run` commands in parallel, git diff stats) that work seamlessly in headless environments and CI.
3. 🤖 AI-Ready (Built-in MCP Server): Automatically generates an `AGENTS.md` workspace map and runs an embedded Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with 25 tools—giving agents like Claude Desktop or Cursor full visibility to search symbols (powered by Tree-sitter) and navigate your repos.
4. 🛡️ Safety First: Strict fast-forward syncs (never clobbers dirty branches) and a safe `.repotruck/trash` with instant undo (`z`).
It's 100% open source (MIT) and built with TypeScript, Node.js / Bun, OpenTUI, and Tree-sitter.
Try it out in seconds:
`npx repotruck`
I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and feature requests. What does your current multi-repo setup look like?
