Replay Doodle stores every brush stroke instead of just the finished image. Draw a doodle, submit it, and anyone can replay the entire creation process at their own speed—from the very first stroke to the last.

The replay feature sounds genuinely cool, watching how a drawing comes together is half the fun. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to leave timestamped comments on specific strokes, so you can point out a neat technique or ask "how'd you do that part" right where it happened.
@tlay1638040 Good idea. I might add that in the future.
Would love a way to export the replay as a short video or GIF so I can share the process on Instagram or TikTok without screen recording. That would make it way more shareable.
@toprakkokf I'll look into this.
Update: my host doesn't allow ffmpeg (and that's needed to create mp4 on the fly). And animated gif are larger than mp4 so I am not doing it for the time being.
Update 2: Added Download MP4 feature. It'll make mp4 that plays at selected play back speed at 60fps.
Watching my own drawing come back stroke by stroke is weirdly mesmerizing, and I can finally see exactly where I hesitated on the curves.
Love how it keeps every stroke instead of flattening them into a final image. Watching a doodle come together in real time feels oddly relaxing, and the speed control makes it easy to actually catch the little decisions that usually get lost.
Tried drawing a quick flower and the replay actually feels like watching someone's thought process unfold stroke by stroke, which is way cooler than I expected. Really fun to see what others make too.
Honestly the replay feature is kind of brilliant for learning how artists actually think through a piece stroke by stroke. Really thoughtful execution on something most drawing apps just skip over.
