What do you think? …

Brannon Desseyn
love this concept, but i was perpetually stuck at 17 days until my account was activated....probably for 3 months of that.
John Robin
@bdesseyn Hi, with this new version it should be good and you should have the launched in september the 1st
Chad Carleton
@wwwjohnrobin, Suggestion based on a pitch at a Startup Weekend I facilitated: Market this as a way to ultimately get free talk/text and/or data on your phone. One team calculated the amount of time it would take watching ads delivered directly to your device periodically to pay for the basic phone plan ($30) each month. Maybe you'd eventually just transfer those credits directly to their phone carrier as a credit to their bill. If people thought they could get a free phone just for authorizing their browsing habits to be used, I think they'd be more incentivized to participate.
John Robin
@chadcarleton This is a good idea we though as we are preparing our own Smartphone allowing people to earn more money. You'll have the choice to pay you mobile plan or get your money. As Rentork is not only ads on your mobile but everywhere you go on the web it should be very interesting. Thanks to you
Zbigniew Czarnecki
Awesome concept! Congrats to founders :)
John Robin
@z_czarnecki Thank you very much
Desmond Popkowski
I'm prepared for disappointment here, but I'll ask anyway: Global or US only?
Casie Lane Millhouse
@desmondzik I'm always wondering that question and hope there's an awesome answer
John Robin
@desmondzik global, US is already in prelaunch and many European countries. Asia is october/september
Amber Klein
Is there a Mac component for this? I am online on my laptop nearly all day.
John Robin
@amberdklein Hey, no need, just download the app on your smartphone, as you connect with FB, TW or GG, you're also connected on you Mac too (who is not connected on FB)? So the system will detect you.
Gabe O'Leary
The app experience could use quite a bit of work. When I am filling out my profile and tap on birthday they default state is to type something in... I don't know what format you guys want. It took me a while to notice the arrow on the right side I had to press to get options. Also for spoken languages the keyboard remained open even though you can't type anything in.. and making user scroll through list of hundreds of languages to find english seems foolish.
Gabe O'Leary
Also navigation in the app is very confusing. The icons at the bottom are pretty vague. And when I'm on the interest view the home button takes me back a screen, not to the home screen.
John Robin
@golear Hi, Thank you for your feedback, for the birthdate we know this issue and are fixing it on the next release this week. For the back button you should be back on the previous screen, we'll see what's going on. Thank you for your feedback it's really appreciated and it helps.
Gabe O'Leary
@wwwjohnrobin so when I tap the heart it takes me to "Interests". From here when I tap a category such as "sports/outdoors" it takes me deeper in interests which is why the "Home" button no longer makes sense, as it isn't taking me home, but to a higher level of the same menu.
John Robin
@golear Yeah maybe a font awesome icon mistake we'll fix that
Tom Charde
I see several laptop references & icons on your site, but all I can find is the iOS app. Where's the Mac version?
John Robin
@tomcharde Hi, you don’t need it on desktop and we do not have an app because as you already signed up with your mobile, you’ve been connected with your Facebook, Google or Twitter and the system will recognize you. Cheers
Tom Charde
@wwwjohnrobin I haven't signed up with mobile and don't want to. If you're using FB/TW/Google single sign-on, can't this be validated from a desktop browser without the need of installing a mobile app?
John Robin
@tomcharde Yes very soon, you need to have the app and sign up with your email instead of social login and you'll get prompt on the next version to click on a link to activate your desktop.
