@davidsfeng@buckwilson Thanks for the kind words! If you can finagle a VM running MacOS 10.10 or higher, then it should work fine! And Remotely will open the same files types that Safari can open natively on your iPhone, as well as a handful of other formats. We plan to continue adding support, so if you find one we don't happen to support yet just send us a quick note :)
@jasonology Fair enough! We spent a lot of time considering the pricing structure – definitely wasn't an easy decision. The app store is a tough place for indie houses like our own. Appreciate the feedback for sure.
@jasonology Totally hear you. As Buck said, we spent a lot of time considering the pricing structure while considering the architecture of the tech behind it. We really would have preferred to have the point-to-point access be completely distributed, but in the end, we do actually have to have server infrastructure to handle some basic metadata exchange. This is the recurring cost for us that pushed us into a monthly fee.
