RemIP is a universal remote control for your local network. Shutdown, send voice and text messages to any PC. Scan the network, take remote screenshots, and manage groups of computers. The built-in setup wizard prepares Windows for remote work in seconds. Portable, no installation required, with dark/light themes and auto-updates.

Hi Product Hunt! π I'm dmistr, the maker of Remip.
It all started with pure laziness: I got tired of getting off the couch just to turn off the PC in the next room. WinRM is a powerful beast, but to make it actually work, you have to mess with settings, firewall ports, and UAC.
RemIP makes that "magic" accessible in just one click. Enter the IP, save the password, and you've got yourself a universal remote control for your entire local network.
It turns the dreaded shutdown /s /t 0 into a beautiful button. But it doesn't stop there:
πΈ Screenshots without RDP (our agent bypasses Windows Session 0 isolation)
π£οΈ Voice announcements (uses the built-in speech synthesizer on the remote PC)
πΊοΈ Network Map (scans the subnet and lets you manage groups of PCs at once)
It's perfect for shutting down your younger brother's PC from another room, broadcasting a voice announcement to the whole office, or quickly grabbing a screenshot from a remote screen.
π The project is actively evolving! I'm constantly improving Remip and have many updates and new features planned for the future. Already in the pipeline: remote console, file system access, and advanced monitoring.
π‘ Send me your suggestions and ideas! I'll do my best to implement the most interesting and useful features in upcoming versions. This project is built for the community, and your feedback truly matters.
Portable EXE, no installation required. Grab it on GitHub β I'd love your stars and thoughts! β
