For years, I struggled with Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). I’d grind through LeetCode problems, feel like I was getting somewhere, but a week later? Poof - gone. I’d forget solutions, patterns, everything. It was like restarting from zero every time, and it killed my progress. No matter how much I studied, I wasn’t moving forward. I knew revision was key - without it, we forget what we learn. But revising DSA was a mess. I tried using an Excel sheet to track problems, jotting down what I learned, but it was clunky. Managing what to revise when, and capturing my thought process (like why I used a hash map for “Two Sum”), was still difficult to move around the sheets. At the same time, I was thinking and talking to build a micro SaaS for a long time. I’d toyed with ideas like habit trackers, but they felt saturated and uninspiring. Then I read a blog that said to find a great micro SaaS idea, scratch your own itch. That’s when it all changed. My biggest pain was forgetting DSA problems, and there wasn’t an easy, tailored tool to help me revise. Why not build one myself? I got to work. In just four days, I rapid-prototyped the first version of Remindify, a tool that uses spaced repetition to make DSA stick. You add problems, your code, notes, and tags (like “Hash Map”), and Remindify schedules reviews at the perfect times—3, 7, 15 days - so I don’t forget. It’s simple, focused, and built for coders like me. I’ve been using Remindify for 37 days straight, and the difference is night and day. For the first time, I feel confident in my DSA skills. Patterns like two-pointer are second nature now, and I’m not starting from scratch anymore. I remember them all and confidently learn and solve new problems everyday. Now, I want to share Remindify with others. If you’re grinding DSA, forgetting what you learn, or struggling to revise, this is for you. I built it to solve my own pain, and after seeing how it’s transformed my prep, I believe it can help you ace your coding journey too. Try it, share your feedback, and let’s make DSA mastery easier together!
