Reminder Joe started with a simple problem: reminders often arrive in places we’ve learned to ignore.
For small things like picking up dry cleaning, cancelling a trial, or taking something out of the oven, another app or task system felt like too much. The job was simpler: get the thought out of your head and have it return at the right time as a text.
In a nutshell: Reminder Joe helps you send a text to your future self.
The core is deliberately deterministic, not an AI chatbot. Joe works from simple text input, shows you what it understood, and fixed scheduling logic handles the rest. No generated answers. No AI deciding when your reminder should arrive.

Honestly love that there's no app to download, super low friction. One thing though, could you add a quick way to set recurring reminders by just texting something like "every Monday" instead of needing premium for repeats? That would be a nice freebie for people who want to use it for weekly stuff without paying.
texted him yesterday to remind me about a meds refill and it actually pinged me right on time, kind of surreal not needing another app for once
Finally tried texting Joe and the setup took like ten seconds, felt weirdly nice not downloading anything just to set a reminder.
Finally tried this and was surprised how natural it felt to just text a reminder like I would a friend. Got my callback right on time, no app clutter needed.
