Hi everyone, Zach here, founder of Relevance. I worked as an engineer on search and match at three marketplace startups. At all three, I found our search algorithm to be like a black box. Few knew how it worked, and fewer wanted to touch it. This inspired me to start Relevance, which gives the power to anyone to create the best search rankings for their site without coding. **How it works** - Set the rules for your site search rankings in the online dashboard - Forward searches to the Relevance API - Results will be displayed on your site according to the rules you set You can make changes to your rules at any time! We start by A/B testing your current search algorithm vs. your new search algorithm created in the Relevance dashboard. 50% of traffic goes to each experience, and we track how conversion rates compare for the two algorithms. Soon, you will be able to A/B test two different Relevance algorithms against each other too 🙂
