I built this after watching compliance analysts open four government portals in three alphabets to answer one question. Georgia, Armenia and Moldova publish their company registers, and all three are close to unusable: card-by-card pages, no APIs, a captcha in front of Georgian ownership data. The rules I would not break: official sources only, no captcha bypass, no personal ID numbers republished, and a register that cannot be read returns an explicit "unavailable" instead of an empty result. Every record carries its source URL, retrieval time and a hash, so a compliance file or an article can re-verify it later. The demo search on reestri.io uses real records fetched from the registers. Three countries where the company register is public and unusable

I spent the last two weeks inside the company registers of Georgia, Armenia and Moldova, and they break in different ways: Georgia puts a captcha in front of ownership data, Armenia publishes beneficial-owner declarations that almost nobody parses, Moldova has an open-data file and a paid extract that disagree about what "active" means.

Reestri, launching here next week, turns all three into lookups with an evidence block on every record. Before that, I am curious: for those of you doing compliance or diligence work, which register in your part of the world is the worst to work with, and what do you actually do when a source cannot be automated?
