Hey, I’m the maker of RedShip.
I built it because I tested Reddit as a marketing channel for my own projects. I launched one product and focused almost entirely on Reddit, by posting in the right subreddits and in the right places. In about a month, it brought around 10,000 visitors to the site.
That led me to look deeper into Reddit. It’s a real lever today: posts and comments rank extremely well on Google, and a lot of LLM tools rely heavily on Reddit conversations to generate answers.
For companies and solo founders, that creates a real competitive advantage.
It's funny because i use RedShip to market RedShip itself on Reddit. Leonardo Dicaprio would be proud of me for this inception moment !
And i started to work with some companies that uses to monitor their competitors or just for themselves.
Happy to answer any questions and get feedback.

@axel_schapmann Congrats on the launch Avel. Very meta to use redship to launch redship. What's your big differentiator from Octolens and the like?

@axel_schapmann That's very cool, I am curious to learn more about the "DM" strategy

Reddit’s spicy… how’re you handling the “don’t market here” vibe? Like do you flag threads where it’s actually ok to jump in vs guaranteed downvotes.
Looks interesting, but can you explain - does it monitor all the subs or just specific ones?
