The apps keep running normally on your screen. They just don't exist as far as your audience is concerned. Two features I'm especially proud of: Profiles let you save different sets of hidden apps for different contexts (one for client calls, another for team standups). And with Shortcuts automation, you can wire RedactScreen into AppleScript or the Shortcuts app to automatically activate the right profile when a meeting starts, or hide specific apps the moment you hit "Share Screen."
